Deputies' oath and bond.

82.640. The deputy collectors shall, before taking office,take and subscribe an oath or affirmation to support theconstitutions of the United States and of the state of Missouri,and to demean themselves faithfully in office; and, each of saiddesignated deputy collectors shall be required to give bond andsecurity to the state of Missouri, in the amount required by andto the satisfaction of and to be approved by the collector, in asum not to exceed two thousand five hundred dollars each,conditioned that he will faithfully account for all moneys cominginto his hands as such deputy collector, all of which said bondsshall be deposited and remain in the office of the city registerof such city.
