Appropriation of private property--records of ordinances andproceedings (third class cities).

88.503. As soon as practicable after the confirmation of anyverdict rendered under sections 88.010 to 88.070 by the councilof any third class city in the proceedings for the condemnationof private property, the city clerk shall file a full record, ina book provided for that purpose, of such proceedings, whichrecord shall contain correct copies of all ordinancesconstituting part of the proceedings, the notices to the partiesto the proceedings, and returns thereon; all notices publishedand the proofs thereof, all orders by the mayor, the names of thejurors and when impaneled, and the verdict of the jury, and suchother documents and matters as the ordinances of the city mayrequire. The mayor shall examine such final record of suchproceedings, and if it be correct, sign the same; and thereaftersuch record, or copy thereof, certified by the city clerk, underhis hand and the seal of the city, shall be competent evidence inall courts of this state of facts stated therein. The originalpapers shall be carefully preserved by the city clerk.
