Notice of suit on special tax bills (cities, 300,000 or over).

88.923. Whenever any suit shall be commenced in any city ofthis state now having, or which may hereafter have a populationof three hundred thousand or more inhabitants, on any special taxbill to enforce the payment or the lien thereof, the party orparties plaintiff shall, within ten days after the commencementof such suit, file with the comptroller or other officer of suchcity, in whose office the record of such special tax bills isrequired to be kept, a written notice setting forth when and inwhich court such suit was brought; and the comptroller or suchother officer shall immediately note such facts on the record ofsuch tax bill.
