Annual audit, content--annual hearings.

99.055. The board of commissioners of each housing authorityshall conduct an annual audit of all operations and activitiesundertaken by said housing authority pursuant to this chapter,including, but not limited to, reports of revenues andexpenditures of said housing authority and such related entitiesas described in subsection 3 of section 99.080, divided andbroken out by each project or undertaking as defined in paragraph(b) of subdivision (12)* of section 99.020. The board ofcommissioners shall issue a detailed report of said audit andshall make said report available to the public upon itscompletion. In connection therewith and after the final issuanceof such audit, each board of commissioners shall conduct not lessthan one public hearing and, with respect to authorities whichown and operate one thousand or more rental units prior to thefinal issuance of such audit as part of audit procedure not lessthan two hearings and after the final issuance of such audit notless than one hearing, at locations reasonably accessible totenants of housing project, for the purposes of obtaining tenantand public responses regarding the activities of the authorityduring the preceding year and suggestions for future activitiesof the authority.
