Commissioner--misconduct in office--removal--procedure.

99.390. For inefficiency or neglect of duty or misconduct inoffice, a commissioner of an authority may be removed by themayor (or by the governing body of the county in case itappointed such commissioner), but a commissioner shall be removedonly after a hearing and after he shall have been given a copy ofthe charges at least ten days prior to such hearing and have hadan opportunity to be heard in person or by counsel. In the eventof the removal of any commissioner, a record of the proceedings,together with the charges and findings thereon, shall be filed inthe office of the municipal or county clerk, as the case may be.
