Authority may exercise power of eminent domain.

100.420. 1. An authority whose board members are appointed by one ormore elected officials shall have the right to acquire by the exercise ofthe power of eminent domain any real property which it may deem necessaryfor a project or for its purposes under this law after the adoption by itof a resolution declaring that the acquisition of the real propertydescribed therein is necessary for such purposes. Any authority mayexercise the power of eminent domain in the manner and under the procedureprovided for corporations in chapter 523, RSMo, and acts amendatory thereofor supplementary thereto.

2. Property already devoted to a public use may be acquired in likemanner; provided that no real property belonging to the municipality, thecounty or the state may be acquired without its consent.
