Board to serve without compensation--expenses authorized--boardmembers performing duties not to suffer loss of their regularcompensation.

103.042. The board shall serve without compensation fortheir services as such, but shall be paid for any necessaryexpenses incurred in attending meetings of the board orcommittees thereof or in the performance of other dutiesauthorized by the board. Duties performed for the plan by anymember of the board shall be considered duties in connection withthe regular employment of the individual, and he or she shallsuffer no loss in regular compensation by reason of theperformance of such duties.
