Thirty-day enrollment period for state employees, retirees anddependents--preexisting condition not covered for twelve months.

103.098. There shall be a thirty-day enrollment period, ata time designated by the board, during which retirees andsurviving dependents of retirees or employees of state agenciesparticipating in the plan but not then covered by the medicalcare plan shall be able to enroll in the plan upon provision, attheir* own expense, of evidence of good health satisfactory to theboard. A preexisting condition will not be covered until aperson has been a plan participant for twelve consecutive months.
