Issues as to appropriate bargaining units and majority representativestatus to be decided by state board of mediation--appeal tocircuit court.

105.525. Issues with respect to appropriateness ofbargaining units and majority representative status shall beresolved by the state board of mediation. In the event that theappropriate administrative body or any of the bargaining unitsshall be aggrieved by the decision of the state board ofmediation, an appeal may be had to the circuit court of thecounty where the administrative body is located or in the circuitcourt of Cole County. The state board of mediation shall use theservices of the state hearing officer in all contested cases.
