Compensation of certain department heads.

105.950. 1. Until June 30, 2000, the commissioner of administrationand the directors of the departments of revenue, social services,agriculture, economic development, corrections, labor and industrialrelations, natural resources, and public safety shall continue to receivethe salaries they received on August 27, 1999, subject to annualadjustments as provided in section 105.005.

2. On and after July 1, 2000, the salary of the directors of theabove departments shall be set by the governor within the limits of thesalary ranges established pursuant to this section and the appropriationfor that purpose. Salary ranges for department directors and members ofthe board of probation and parole shall be set by the personnel advisoryboard after considering the results of a study periodically performed oradministered by the office of administration. Such salary ranges shall bepublished yearly in an appendix to the revised statutes of Missouri.

3. Each of the above salaries shall be increased by any salaryadjustment provided pursuant to the provisions of section 105.005.
