Service of articles of impeachment.

106.070. When articles of impeachment shall be presented tothe supreme court, the court shall immediately appoint some dayfor the appearance of the accused and cause a summons to beissued, signed by the chief justice of the court andcountersigned by one of the judges thereof, with a copy of thearticles of impeachment annexed, requiring the accused to appearon the day appointed for that purpose, and answer the chargesexhibited against him, which shall be served by the marshal ofthe court, or by special messenger by the court appointed, areasonable time before the day set for his appearance.
