Board of canvassers or governor to issue statement.

116.330. 1. After an election at which any statewide ballotmeasure, other than a proposed constitution or constitutionalamendment submitted by a constitutional convention, is voted upon,the secretary of state shall convene the board of state canvassersto total the abstracts. Not later than two weeks after receivingall required abstracts, the board shall issue a statement givingthe number of votes cast "yes" and "no" on each question. Ifvoters approve two or more measures at one election which are knownto conflict with one another, or to contain conflicting provisions,the board shall also state which received the largest affirmativevote.

2. After an election at which a proposed constitution orconstitutional amendment adopted by a constitutional convention issubmitted, the governor shall proclaim the results in accordancewith section 3(c), article XII of the constitution.
