Department of revenue to furnish lists of motor vehicles.

137.116. 1. The department of revenue shall annuallytransmit as of January first of each year to the county assessorof each county and of the city of St. Louis, a list showing thedescription of all motor vehicles, motor boats and trailers,registered with the department of revenue, the name and addressof the owner or the name and address of the registered agent of acorporate owner, of all motor vehicles, motor boats and trailershaving a personal property situs within the county or city, thelist to be furnished to the assessor before April first of thetaxable year.

2. Each assessor shall use the report issued by the directorof revenue to assist him in preparing assessment lists of alltangible personal property in the county or township.
