County clerk to act as clerk of sale--fee.

140.220. 1. The clerk of the county commission shall attend, eitherin person or by deputy, as the clerk of the sale of such delinquent land,and shall enter the same on a sufficient record book giving a descriptionof the proper tract or lot, to whom sold, and the price, or whether thesame remains unsold.

2. For his services as in this section provided he shall, except inthose counties having a population in excess of one hundred thousand,receive the sum of twenty-five cents on each tract of land or lot sold, tobecome part of the costs of sale and paid by the purchaser, which fee shallinclude entry or recital of redemption on such record.
