Governor may name council--public hearing required.

160.800. The governor may, on behalf of the state and in accordancewith chapter 355, RSMo, establish a private not-for-profit corporationnamed the "P-20 Council", to carry out the provisions of sections 160.800to 160.820. As used in this section, the word "corporation" means the P-20council authorized by this section. Before certification by the governor,the corporation shall conduct a public hearing for the purpose of givingall interested parties an opportunity to review and comment upon thearticles of incorporation, bylaws, and method of operation of thecorporation. Notice of hearing shall be given at least fourteen days priorto the hearing.
