Vacancies in office.

161.052. Any vacancy occurring in the term of office of anyboard member shall be filled by appointment by the governor, byand with the advice and consent of the senate, for the unexpiredterm. If a vacancy occurs while the general assembly is not insession, the governor shall make a temporary appointment untilthe next session of the general assembly, when he shall nominatesome person to fill the office.
