Neglect or refusal to comply with school laws by public official amisdemeanor, penalty.

162.091. Any county clerk, county treasurer, school boardmember, officer or employee, or other officer, who willfullyneglects or refuses to perform any duty imposed upon him bychapters 160 to 168, 170, 171, 177 and 178, RSMo, or whowillfully violates any provision of these chapters, is guilty ofa misdemeanor and on conviction shall be punished by a fine ofnot more than five hundred dollars or by imprisonment in thecounty jail not to exceed one year.
