Bond of treasurer.

162.541. The treasurer of each urban district, beforeentering upon the discharge of his duties as such, shall enterinto a bond to the state of Missouri with two or more sureties,approved by the board, conditioned that he will render afaithful and just account of all moneys that come into his handsas treasurer, and otherwise perform the duties of his officeaccording to law and shall file the bond with the secretary ofthe board. On breach of any of the conditions of the bond, theboard, or the president or the secretary thereof, or anyresident of the school district, may cause suit to be broughtthereon, in the name of the state of Missouri, at the relationand to the use of the school district.
