Organization election results, how determined--election ofdirectors, when.

162.845. 1. The results of the balloting at each pollingplace shall be certified and transmitted to the state board ofeducation and to the board of education of each school districtcomprising the proposed special district, immediately upontabulation following the closing of the polls. The proposal toorganize the special school district, to carry, must receive amajority of the total number of votes cast thereon in the areacomprising the proposed special district. The state board ofeducation from the results so certified and attested shalldetermine whether the proposal for the organization of thespecial school district has received a majority of the votes castand shall certify the results to the board of education of eachschool district comprising the proposed special district. If thecertificate shows that the proposition to organize the schooldistrict has received a majority of the votes cast, the stateboard of education shall then declare the special school districtorganized.

2. If the proposal to organize the special district isapproved, the state board of education shall, within thirty daysof the date of approval, call an election in the special districtat which the board of education of the special district shall beelected; provided, however, the date for such an election shallnot be more than ninety days after the date of approval.
