Public school fund--source--disposition.

166.011. A state public school fund is created which shallconsist of all moneys, bonds, lands and other propertiesbelonging to or donated to any state fund for public schoolpurposes and the net proceeds of all sales of lands and otherproperty and effects that accrue to the state by escheat. Allsuch funds shall be paid into the state treasury and securelyinvested by the state board of education, and sacredly preservedas a public school fund, the annual income of which shall befaithfully appropriated for establishing and maintaining freepublic schools and for no other uses or purposes whatsoever.
