Grants to assist public schools health services,preference--rules--Medicaid payment incentives.

167.603. Subject to appropriation, the directors of the departments ofhealth and senior services and social services, in consultation with thecommissioner of education of the department of elementary and secondaryeducation, may provide grants from the health initiatives fund to assistpublic schools, public school districts, or local public health departments inexpanding school children health services for all school age children.Preference in grants shall be given based on the greater need for schoolchildren health services and the least ability to fund such services. Thedirectors shall jointly promulgate rules and regulations governing the grantspursuant to section 192.013, RSMo, and section 660.017, RSMo. The director ofsocial services may also provide Medicaid payment incentives.
