Any funds in the charge and custody of the board oftrustees of the retirement system under the provisions ofsections 169.270 to 169.400 shall not be subject to execution,garnishment, attachment or any other process whatsoever and shallbe unassignable, unless otherwise specifically provided insections 169.270 to 169.400.
