172.460. The College of Agriculture and the University ofMissouri-Rolla shall have power to confer degrees suitable totheir designs and courses of study; and the University ofMissouri-Rolla shall provide courses for, and shall confer thebachelor of science and professional degrees in miningengineering, in metallurgy, in mechanical engineering, inelectrical engineering, in chemical engineering, in civilengineering and the degrees of bachelor and master of science ingeneral science.
