Course of study, University of Missouri-Rolla campus.

172.500. That the obligation of the state to the generalgovernment, assumed by the acceptance of the land grant of July2, 1862, may be more fully discharged, and in order to promotethe liberal and practical education of the industrial classes inthe several pursuits and professions of life, the board ofcurators of the University of the State of Missouri shallprescribe and adopt a liberal academic course of study to betaught at the University of Missouri-Rolla campus, in addition tothe courses now taught in said school, and may confer the degreeof bachelor of science upon all students who satisfactorilycomplete said course.
