172.743. All motor vehicles operated upon any thoroughfareowned or maintained by the state university and located withinany of its campuses shall be subject to the provisions of thegeneral motor vehicle laws of this state, including chapters 301,302, 303, 304, 307 and 577, RSMo. Violations shall have the sameeffect as though such had occurred on public roads, streets orhighways of this state.
