Missouri rehabilitation center property may be transferred toUniversity of Missouri curators, powers and duties--Missourirehabilitation center appropriations may be transferred to Universityof Missouri curators, duties and exceptions--other funds of Missourirehabilitation center may be transferred to University of Missouricurators.

172.852. 1. All property, real, personal, tangible or intangible, ofthe Missouri rehabilitation center of the department of health and seniorservices may be transferred to the curators of the University of Missouri byagreement between the state department of health and senior services and theboard of curators, who may execute such documents as may be necessary toeffectuate such conveyances. If the conveyance of land, the title of which isvested in the governor, is required, the governor is specifically empowered toexecute necessary instruments of conveyance without further legislativeenactment. The curators of the University of Missouri shall have the power tosell any land transferred to it pursuant to this section, the proceeds ofwhich shall be held and used not inconsistent with the provisions of section172.850.

2. The control of all unexpended appropriations made for the support ofthe Missouri rehabilitation center of the department of health and seniorservices, except such portion as may be retained by the department of healthand senior services for the continued support of the tuberculosis testinglaboratory, is transferred to the curators of the University of Missouri, andthe curators of the University of Missouri shall expend those on behalf of therehabilitation center.

3. All unexpended transferable trust funds, endowment funds, pledges,special funds and general funds held by the department of health and seniorservices for the support of the Missouri rehabilitation center may, unlessotherwise prohibited by law and with such reservation as the parties may agreefor the support of the tuberculosis testing laboratory, be transferred by thedepartment of health and senior services to the curators of the University ofMissouri, and the curators of the University of Missouri shall expend suchfunds consistent with the provisions of section 172.850.
