Definitions.

178.651. As used in sections 178.651 to 178.658, thefollowing words mean:

(1) "Centers" or "centers for independent living",community-based nonresidential programs designed to promoteindependent living for persons with disabilities;

(2) "Division", the division of vocational rehabilitation ofthe department of elementary and secondary education;

(3) "Nonprofit corporation", a corporation in which no partof the net earnings inures to the benefit of any privateshareholder or individual and the income of which is exempt fromtaxation under 26 U.S.C.A. section 501(c)(3);

(4) "Person with a disability", any person who:

(a) Has a physical or mental impairment which substantiallylimits one or more of such person's major life activities;

(b) Has a record of such an impairment; or

(c) Is regarded as having such an impairment.
