Board to make annual report--contents.

182.450. The said board of directors shall make, on orbefore the second Monday in June, an annual report to the mayor,stating the condition of their trust on the first day of May ofthat year, the various sums of money received from the libraryfund and from other sources, and how such moneys have beenexpended and for what purposes; the number of books andperiodicals on hand, the number added by purchase, gift orotherwise, during the year; the number and general character andkind of such books, with such other statistics, information andsuggestions as they may deem of general interest. All suchportions of said report as relate to the receipt and expenditureof money, as well as the number of books on hand, books lost ormissing, and books purchased, shall be verified by affidavit.
