184.108. A museum shall give the lender or claimant writtennotice of any known injury to or loss of loaned property, in theform required under this section. The director shall adopt byrule a form of notice of injury or loss, no later than December31, 1991, and shall distribute the rule and form to allidentified museums in this state within sixty days after thepromulgation of the rule. The notice shall be mailed to thelender's or claimant's last address of record within thirty daysafter the date on which the injury or loss is first known by themuseum. Published notice of injury to or loss of undocumentedproperty shall not be required.
