Report from certain state agencies to council and designatedofficials--contents--due, when.

186.019. 1. Prior to April first of each year, starting in1992, the information described in subdivisions (1), (2), (3) and(4) of this subsection shall be delivered in report form to theMissouri women's council, the governor's office, the secretary ofthe senate, and the chief clerk of the house of representatives.The information shall apply only to activities which occurredduring the previous calendar year. Reports shall be requiredfrom the following:

(1) The department of labor and industrial relations, andthe division of job development and training of the department ofeconomic development, who shall assemble all available data andreport on all business start-ups and business failures which arefifty-one percent or more owned by women. The reports shalldistinguish, as best as possible, those businesses which are soleproprietorships, partnerships, or corporations;

(2) The department of economic development, who shallassemble all available data and report on financial assistance orother incentives given to all businesses which are fifty-onepercent or more owned by women. The report shall containinformation relating to assistance or incentives awarded for theretention of existing businesses, the expansion of existingbusinesses, or the start-up of new businesses;

(3) The department of revenue, who shall assemble allavailable data and report on the number, gross receipts and netincome of all businesses which are fifty-one percent or moreowned by women. The reports shall distinguish those businesseswhich are sole proprietorships, partnerships or corporations;

(4) The division of purchasing of the office ofadministration, who shall assemble all available data and reporton businesses which are fifty-one percent or more owned by womenwhich are recipients of contracts awarded by the state ofMissouri.

2. Prior to December first of each year, starting in 1990,the information described in subdivisions (1) and (2) of thissubsection shall be delivered in report form to the Missouriwomen's council, the governor's office, the secretary of thesenate, and the chief clerk of the house of representatives. Theinformation shall apply only to activities which occurred duringthe previous school year. Reports shall be required from thefollowing:

(1) The department of elementary and secondary educationshall assemble all available data from the Vocational andEducation Data System (VEDS) on class enrollments by InstructionProgram Codes (CIP); by secondary and postsecondary schools; and,secondary, postsecondary, and adult level classes; and by gender.This data shall also be reported by classes of traditional andnontraditional occupational areas.

(2) The coordinating board for higher education shallassemble all available data and report on higher educationdegrees awarded by academic discipline; type of degree; type ofschool; and gender. All available data shall also be reported onsalaries received upon completion of degree program andsubsequent hire, as well as any data available on follow-upsalaries.
