Cystic fibrosis, duties of department.

191.380. The department shall:

(1) Assist in the development and expansion of programs forthe care and treatment of persons suffering from cystic fibrosis;

(2) Extend financial assistance to persons suffering fromcystic fibrosis in obtaining treatment of the disease;

(3) Institute and carry on educational programs amongphysicians, hospitals, public health departments, and the publicconcerning cystic fibrosis, including dissemination ofinformation and the conducting of educational programs concerningthe methods of care and treatment of persons suffering from thecondition.
