Application for federal funds--insufficient funds, effect.

191.615. 1. The department shall submit a grant application to theSecretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services asprescribed by the secretary to obtain federal funds to finance the healthprofessional student loan repayment program.

2. Sections 191.600 to 191.615 shall not be construed to require thedepartment to enter into contracts with individuals who qualify for thehealth professional student loan repayment program when federal and statefunds are not available for such purpose.
