To accept and disburse federal funds for health purposes.

192.025. The department of health and senior services is herebydesignated the official agency of the state of Missouri to receive federalfunds for health purposes. The department shall comply with the acts ofcongress and with any rules and conditions made by any federal agency inregard to the use and distribution of such funds. Such funds shall bedeposited in the state treasury and kept in such separately designated fundsas may be required to carry out the purposes for which the federal grants aremade. Disbursements of such funds from the treasury shall be made on warrantsduly issued on requisitions of the department. The general assembly shallappropriate such funds to the use of the department for such purposes.
