Immunity from liability, when.

194.285. 1. A person that acts in accordance with sections 194.210to 194.294 or with the applicable anatomical gift law of another state thatis not inconsistent with the provisions of sections 194.210 to 194.294 orattempts without negligence and in good faith to do so is not liable forthe act in any civil action, criminal, or administrative proceeding.

2. Neither the person making an anatomical gift nor the donor'sestate is liable for any injury or damage that results from the making oruse of the gift.

3. In determining whether an anatomical gift has been made, amended,or revoked under sections 194.210 to 194.294, a person may rely uponrepresentations of individuals listed in subdivision (2), (3), (4), (5),(6), (7), or (8) of subsection 1 of section 194.245 relating to theindividual's relationship to the donor or prospective donor unless theperson knows that representation is untrue.
