Organ donor program fund established--funding, administration,purpose--transfer to general revenue prohibited.

194.297. There is established in the state treasury the "Organ DonorProgram Fund", which shall consist of all moneys deposited by the director ofrevenue pursuant to subsection 2 of section 302.171, RSMo, and any othermoneys donated or appropriated to the fund. The state treasurer shalladminister the fund, and the moneys in the fund shall be used solely, uponappropriation, by the department of health and senior services, inconsultation with the organ donation advisory committee, for implementation oforgan donation awareness programs in the manner prescribed in subsection 2 ofsection 194.300. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 33.080, RSMo, tothe contrary, moneys in the organ donor program fund at the end of anybiennium shall not be transferred to the credit of the general revenue fund.There shall be no money appropriated from general revenue to administer thefund in the event the fund cannot sustain itself.
