Advertisements to promote sale of drug paraphernalia or imitationcontrolled substances prohibited, penalty.

195.244. 1. It is unlawful for any person to place in anynewspaper, magazine, handbill, or other publication anyadvertisement, knowing, or under circumstances where onereasonably should know, that the purpose of the advertisement, inwhole or in part, is to promote the sale of objects designed orintended for use as drug paraphernalia.

2. It is unlawful for any person to place in any newspaper,magazine, handbill, or other publication, or to post ordistribute in any public place, any advertisement or solicitationwith reasonable knowledge that the purpose of the advertisementor solicitation is to promote the distribution of imitationcontrolled substances.

3. Any person who violates this section is guilty of a classB misdemeanor.
