Records and stocks open for examination--officer's duty ofconfidentiality.

195.415. All prescriptions, orders, and records, requiredby sections 195.400 to 195.425, and stocks of controlledsubstances and substances listed in subsection 2 of section195.400 shall be open for examination and inspection to federal,state, county, and municipal officers, whose duty it is toenforce the laws of this state or of the United States relatingto controlled substances and chemicals. No officer havingknowledge by virtue of his office of any such prescription,order, or record shall divulge such knowledge, except inconnection with a prosecution or proceeding in court or before alicensing or registration board or officer, to which prosecutionor proceeding the person to whom such prescriptions, orders, orrecords relate is a party.
