Copy of suspicious transaction report for certain drugs to besubmitted to chief law enforcement officer, when--suspicioustransaction defined--violations, penalty.

195.515. 1. Any manufacturer or wholesaler who sells, transfers, orotherwise furnishes ephedrine, pseudoephedrine or phenylpropanolamine, orany of their salts, optical isomers and salts of optical isomers, alone orin a mixture, and is required by federal law to report any suspicioustransaction to the United States attorney general, shall submit a copy ofthe report to the chief law enforcement official with jurisdiction beforecompletion of the sale or as soon as practicable thereafter.

2. As used in this section, "suspicious transaction" means any saleor transfer required to be reported pursuant to 21 U.S.C. 830(b)(1).

3. Any violation of this section shall be a class D felony.
