196.341. The premises, plants and facilities operated and maintainedby egg processors shall be operated and maintained in a clean and sanitarycondition. The director shall adopt and promulgate rules and regulationspursuant to this section and chapter 536, RSMo, establishing standards ofcleanliness and sanitation for such premises, plants and facilities, andthe director, or his authorized agents or representatives, are authorizedand empowered to inspect such premises, plants and facilities in order toenforce such cleanliness and sanitation requirements. No rule or portionof a rule promulgated under the authority of sections 196.311 to 196.361shall become effective unless it has been promulgated pursuant to theprovisions of section 536.024, RSMo.
