Exempt persons and religious organizations.

197.460. 1. The provisions of sections 197.400 to 197.475shall not apply to individuals who personally provide one ormore home health services if such persons are not under thedirect control and doing work for and employed by a home healthagency.

2. The provisions of sections 197.400 to 197.475 shall notapply to any person or organization conducting a home healthagency by and for the adherents of any recognized church orreligious denomination or sect for the purpose of providingservices for the care or treatment of the sick or infirm whodepend upon prayer or spiritual means for healing in thepractice of the religion of such church or religiousdenomination or sect.

3. The provisions of sections 197.400 to 197.475 shall notapply to any person or other entity which provides servicespursuant to subdivision (18) of subsection 1 of section 208.152,RSMo, or provides in-home services pursuant to subdivision (21)of subsection 2 of section 660.050, RSMo.
