Medicaid payments stopped by division, when--hearing.

198.165. 1. When the director of the investigation divisionhas probable cause to believe that a health care provider iscommitting any act or omission in violation of any provision ofsections 198.139 to 198.186, he may petition an appropriate courtfor an order to stop payments under Medicaid to the health careprovider pending completion of the investigation and litigationunder sections 198.139 to 198.186.

2. The court shall allow the health care provider theopportunity to be heard on the request of the director of thefraud investigation division and shall decide, in writing,whether to stop payments to the health care provider.
