Nursing homes and correctional centers, authority to promulgaterules for testing.

199.350. The department shall have the authority topromulgate rules and regulations which require the preadmissiontesting for tuberculosis of all residents in nursing homes in thestate and the annual testing of all health care workers andvolunteers in nursing homes in the state, and residents and staffof state correctional centers. The department shall annuallyissue screening guidelines on other groups determined by thedepartment to be at high risk for tuberculosis.
