204.290. 1. When the board of trustees provided for insection 204.300 is appointed and organized, the district shall beconsidered in law and equity a body corporate and politic, knownby the name specified in the original petition and the court'sdecree, and by that name and style may sue and be sued, contractand be contracted with, acquire and hold real estate and personalproperty necessary for corporate purposes, and adopt a commonseal.
2. All courts in this state shall take judicial notice ofthe existence of any district organized under sections 204.250 to204.470.
