Retirement, health, life and employment insurance may be part ofcompensation, when.

205.192. The board of hospital trustees may also as part oftheir compensation either through purchase of plans or throughplans of self-insurance provide for suitable retirement, health,life insurance, and employment insurance plans for all hospitaladministrators and employees, and the employer's cost of suchplans shall be paid by the treasurer of the board of hospitaltrustees in the same manner as other expenses of the hospital arepaid; provided that the board of hospital trustees shall be takenand considered as a "political subdivision" as the term isdefined in section 70.600, RSMo, for the purposes of sections70.600 to 70.755, RSMo.
