Report, delivery of case management services, contents--deliveryof report.

208.627. 1. The department of social services shall seekinput from the department of mental health and community-basedsocial service agencies, which provide case management servicesto the elderly, for the purpose of developing a report outliningareas and strategies by which the department can deliver casemanagement services to the elderly by collaboration andcooperation with community-based social service agencies,employing licensed personnel. The report shall include, but notbe limited to, the identification of at-risk elderly,transportation services, case management services, nutritionservices, health services, and socialization activities andprograms. The goal of strategies outlined should be to enhancethe quality of life and welfare of Missouri's elderly population,and specifically Missouri's at-risk elderly.

2. The report required by subsection 1 of this sectionshall be delivered to the governor, the president pro tem of thesenate, and the speaker of the house not later than January 1,1995. The report shall identify effective and efficient methodsof delivering necessary services to at-risk elderly.
