Rules, compliance with federal law.

208.643. 1. The department of social services shall implementpolicies establishing a program to pay for health care for uninsuredchildren by rules promulgated pursuant to chapter 536, RSMo, eitherstatewide or in certain geographic areas, subject to obtaining necessaryfederal approval and appropriation authority. The rules may provide for ahealth care services package that includes all medical services covered bysection 208.152, except nonemergency transportation.

2. Available income shall be determined by the department of socialservices by rule, which shall comply with federal laws and regulationsrelating to the state's eligibility to receive federal funds to implementthe insurance program established in sections 208.631 to 208.657.
