Provisional certificates issuedwhen--limitation--requirements--extension granted when.

209.309. The board may offer provisional certification tointerpreters achieving a minimal level of certificationestablished by the board. A provisional certification is limitedto one year; during such year the interpreter must be reevaluatedand achieve the next higher level of certification. If anevaluation slot is not available during the term of theprovisional license, the interpreter may be granted an extension.A holder of a provisional certification may only be granted oneextension.
