Temporary license issued to persons licensed in other states,procedure, fee limitation.

209.326. Any person who holds a valid unrevoked and unexpired licenseor certification as an interpreter issued by a state or organization otherthan this state and recognized by the committee and concurrently by theMissouri commission for the deaf and hard of hearing and, provided for byrule, may be granted a temporary license by the committee to practiceinterpreting in this state. The application for a temporary license mustbe accompanied by the appropriate fee as established by the committee andthat fee is nonrefundable. If issued, the temporary license is valid forninety days. A temporary license may not be issued to the same individualmore than once per year. The committee may not issue more than onetemporary license to an individual who has established residency in thisstate during the individual's residency.
