Emergency placement of abused or neglected children across statelines, approval required, when.

210.622. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 210.620, thechildren's division may enter into an agreement with a similar agency inany state adjoining Missouri that provides for the emergency placement ofabused or neglected children across state lines, without the prior approvalrequired by the interstate compact. A request for approval pursuant tosection 210.620 shall be initiated if the placement extends beyond thirtydays.
