Placements from nonparty states, procedure for.

210.640. No placement made into this state from a jurisdiction notparty to the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children shall belawful unless the person or agency making the placement complies with andfollows the procedures and requirements of that compact as though the stateor jurisdiction from which the child is sent or brought were party thereto.This section shall not apply to any placement which would not be subject tothe terms of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children if boththis state and the other state or jurisdiction from which the child is sentor brought were parties thereto.
